The most common complaints are bugs while navigating posts, video playback problems, and missing features. Some also report account-management difficulties and limited photo zoom. Many see promise in the app but consider it a work in progress.

Pros

Reviewers see potential in the app as an Instagram alternative and appreciate its ongoing development.

Cons

Navigation and feed bugs can open the wrong post or make browsing feel unreliable.
Videos may stutter, pause, or buffer frequently.
The app lacks features reviewers expect, including fuller search and profile options and more social interactions.
Some users report sign-in or session problems, and switching between multiple accounts is inconvenient.
Photo zoom behavior is limited or inconsistent.

I thought I could finally leave ig but this kinda disappointing. I don't mind linking it with bs and using the same id but to share the same posts? why would I need 2 same apps with the same feature but different ui? 😅 I was thinking of posting different theme of pics on pl, but well, gonna stick with just bs for now.

Pinksky sign in has been a bit of a trouble because when you use apps to sign in and it asks to integrate thru bluesky, the signing in involves launching your default browser to log in, apparently I been trying for months but failed because my default browser is Edge Browser, and Pinksky login doesn't work with Edge! And they never informed people. 😓
