SnapLink Firefox

SnapLink

Share links, text and images between your phone and PC instantly. No account needed, end-to-end encrypted. Just scan a QR code once and you're connected.

Features & Capabilities

Tired of opening Telegram or emailing yourself just to move a link from your phone to your PC? SnapLink connects your phone and browser directly — no accounts, no installs on the phone, no cleanup needed.

How it works: Install the extension, open the SnapLink web app on your phone, scan the QR code once. That's it — your devices are paired.

Features:

  • Send your current browser tab to your phone with one click
  • Send text, links or images from either device
  • Pin, copy, or delete messages
  • Auto-reconnect if the connection drops
  • Desktop notifications when something arrives from your phone

Security: Every message is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before leaving your device. The encryption key never touches any server — it's shared through the QR code's URL fragment, which browsers never send over the network. The relay server only sees encrypted data it can't read. No accounts, no logging, no analytics. Fully open source.

Is SnapLink Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

SnapLink requires very minimum permissions.

Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.
