memo is backuped on memory 50 generations(by time pass or drop many times or unfocus memo after writing).
layered memo is able to import/export json data

Either I didn't understand how to use it, or it doesn't work. I don't know where I'm supposed to type my note, there's nothing but a side pannel, and I cannot type in it.

This extension does seem to work with Waterfox 56.0.3 on FreeBSD-CURRENT. The listing here suggests that it is not compatible with Linux, is that intentional?
