IDControl helps authorized operators diagnose and provide remote support for compatible mobile phones, tablets, Android TV, Google TV, and TV Boxes.

The person with the device initiates the first support session by sharing a temporary code and decides whether to allow the session. The application shows who requested support, the purpose, and the type of service. Throughout the session, there is a visible indication, and the person can end access directly on the device.

When authorized separately, the same operator and the same organization can send future support requests without requesting the code again. This authorization does not launch the application, does not work in a hidden way, and does not grant automatic control. IDControl needs to be open and online, and in each new session, the device again shows the requester, the purpose, and the type of service, requiring the person to tap "Allow support". This authorization can also be revoked within the application itself.

Depending on the device model, Android version, operator plan, and active security policies, support may include:

• consultation of system information, memory, and storage;

• network connection diagnosis; • Speed ​​test using official Cloudflare infrastructure;

• Wi-Fi network verification, signal strength, date, and time;

• Spot screen capture;

• Navigation keys and D-pad control;

• Limited text sending;

• Opening official settings screens;

• Assisted application inventory and management;

• Consented application installation;

• Browsing and transferring files in shared storage;

• Execution of specific maintenance and power commands compatible with the device.

When the operator requests the installation of an application, IDControl displays information such as name, package, version, file origin, and responsible operator. The person can choose "Install" or "Not now". If the installation is refused, the file will not be transferred or installed. Each new application requires a new decision.

IDControl uses ADB only for local and private communication with the previously authorized device itself. The ADB private key, pairing code, local network address and port, and raw ADB traffic are not sent to the dashboard or IDControl servers.

The application does not offer root access, arbitrary shell, public ADB tunnel, coordinate taps, remote gestures, or its own updates outside of Google Play.

Some functionalities depend on the manufacturer, Android version, and official options available on the device, such as Developer Options, ADB Debugging, Wireless Debugging, and official Android trust dialogs. IDControl does not automate, disable, or bypass these protections.

Privacy and transparency are essential parts of the service. The user can always see when a session is active and end it directly on the device.
