Simple Analytics Firefox

Simple Analytics

Block your own requests so they don't count towards your stats in Simple Analytics

Features & Capabilities

Simple Analytics is a Chrome extension designed to help users block their own visits from being counted in Simple Analytics' website statistics. Whether you're a customer or simply wish to exclude your activity, this extension ensures your visits don't impact the analytics dashboard without recording IP addresses.

By granting permission on specific websites, the extension blocks visit requests locally. It displays a counter icon showing the number of blocked visits, which resets when you close the tab. Users can view and modify blocked sites on the permissions and options pages. The extension is privacy-focused, does not communicate with external servers, and its source code is openly available on GitHub. For feedback or support, visit the official Simple Analytics website.

A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
