What does it do?

It's a little toolbar button. One click and you're downloading a video from Reddit, YouTube ... or at least 1800 more sites.

Could not be simpler to use. Automatically merges best quality video and audio into MP4. Or, if you like, download only the audio as best quality MP3.

You can also right-click a link to download video (or audio) without visiting the link.

That's about it.

Why use it?

Succeeds at downloading videos where some other, more complicated methods fail. Doing all the hard work in the background is yt-dlp, which is astronomically more powerful than 🚀Simple yt-dlp - but I don't need all that extra stuff. All you get from 🚀Simple yt-dlp is a reliable and ridiculously easy way to download Reddit and YouTube videos.

Or you can just download the audio. And not just from Reddit and YouTube, but from 1800 officially supported sites and a lot more.

That's why 🚀Simple yt-dlp was made: to be quick and easy to use and to succeed where others fail.
