Reading Balkans app lists contemporary authors from the Balkans and sample translations of their works

The application is primarily aimed at publishers and literary agents interested in contemporary literature from the Balkans. It can also be used by translators and all lovers of literature from this region.

The app is a part of the Reading Balkans project and was co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. All translations included were financed 100% by the Creative Europe Programme and all authors have given their permission for the translations of these works.
The authors/translators are the copyright holders of the text, unless stated otherwise.

Reading Balkans is a cooperation project of Goga Publishing House (Slovenia), Association Krokodil (Serbia) and Goten Publishing (Macedonia) and is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. Its main goal is promotion of authors from the Balkans and presenting the region of Southeast Europe as a region of extraordinary literary creativity.

The purpose of this app is strictly promotional. The translations that are included in this app are just parts of the books (no more than 20%, usually less than 10%).
