Shumway SEO Toolkit Firefox

Shumway SEO Toolkit

A local-first SEO toolkit for the current page. Inspect metadata, headings, links, images, structured data, and SERP previews, then export the results. No accounts, no tracking, nothing runs until you open it. All analysis stays in your browser.

Features & Capabilities

Shumway SEO Toolkit is a local-first Firefox add-on for page-level SEO inspection. It gives SEOs, PMs, content teams, and developers a structured workspace for analyzing the current page, no account, and nothing running in the background.

Open the toolkit on any page to inspect metadata, indexability signals, response data, headings, links, images, structured data, social tags, styles, accessibility structure, SERP previews, robots.txt behavior, and local SEO tools, all in one panel.

Every export is generated locally in your browser. Save page data as CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown, page-copy documents (TXT/HTML/DOCX/ODT), HTTP trace reports, image ZIPs, accessibility JSON, robots test results, schema JSON, or SERP preview images.

FEATURES

🔍 Overview URL, canonical, robots meta, X-Robots-Tag, title, description, language, H1, status codes, response headers, discovery signals, source-vs-rendered checks, and a prioritized list of issues to review.

📋 Headings & Links Rendered heading outline plus internal/external link data: rel attributes, empty anchors, duplicate anchors. Filter, sort, and export selected results.

🖼 Images Rendered image list with alt-text coverage, lazy loading, missing dimensions, and duplicate sources. Preview images, copy URLs, filter, sort, and export as data or ZIP.

🗂 Structured Data Detects JSON-LD, Microdata, and RDFa. Copy or export schema blocks, see local parse status and Google rich-result guidance, review warnings/errors with highlighted source lines, and view pretty-printed JSON.

🤖 Robots Tools View live robots.txt, test any URL or path, and check grouped crawlers (Core, Detected, AI, Other) or a custom user-agent. Review matched/ignored rules, edit robots.txt locally, and export results.

✏ SERP Previews Editable desktop and mobile Google-style previews, plus compact rich-result modules. Download as PNG or WebP.

♿ Accessibility & Color Rendered accessibility tree with landmarks, controls, images, and issue detection. Filter, sort, expand/collapse, copy locators, and export full JSON. Includes an optional colorblind-friendly palette with non-color issue indicators.

🎨 Social & Style Open Graph and X/Twitter previews, plus fonts, CSS variables, page colors, and stylesheets, with built-in color tools.

🛠 Webmaster & SEO Tools One-click shortcuts to Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, PageSpeed, backlink/rank-tracking tools, Archive.org, and site/image search for the current page or site.

📦 Exports Download focused reports covering issues, metadata, technical signals, discovery signals, HTTP traces, headings, links, images, schema, robots, social tags, styles, SERP previews, accessibility data, page copy, or a full-page audit.

Firefox note: This build doesn't include the JavaScript toggle, since Firefox doesn't expose Chromium's content settings API. Everything else, page analysis, exports, schema review, robots tools, accessibility tools, and webmaster shortcuts, works as expected.

PRIVACY 🔒 All analysis runs locally in your browser. We don't collect page audit data, browsing history, exported files, inspected URLs, or usage data, so there's nothing for us to sell, share, or analyze.

The only network requests are ones you trigger: fetching robots.txt, checking page source/response data, downloading image assets, or opening third-party SEO tools you click on.
