Features & Capabilities

ShopSuey is a browser extension designed to enhance your online shopping by hiding sponsored products on major retail sites like Amazon.com and Ebay.com. By removing sponsored search results, ShopSuey reformats the pages, providing a cleaner and more enjoyable shopping experience.

Currently supporting Amazon and Ebay, the team is actively working on extending functionality to other popular retailers such as BestBuy, Target, and Walmart. ShopSuey is completely free to use, does not collect or share your data, and operates without requiring special permissions or external calls. It monetizes through an affiliate code appended silently to product pages, which does not impact your shopping experience. You can disable this feature anytime via the extension menu. While it functions like a userscript, ShopSuey's code is minified and not currently open source, but future openness is possible based on community interest.

I installed and went to etsy.com, only to find out it "can't read and change data on this site", which is why I got it in the first place. Utterly worthless for shopping there. What's worse is it used to actually work on etsy.

Finally an extension that removes sponsored ad banners. All the others I've tried only remove them from search results.
