ShareToEbook

By: Juanlu Add-on
Send the article you're reading by email wherever you want: your Kindle, another e-reader, or your own inbox. One click.

Features & Capabilities

ShareToEbook turns any article you're reading into a clean document and sends it by email to the address you choose: your Kindle, another e-reader, your own inbox to read later on your phone or tablet, or wherever's most convenient for you. No menus, no ads, no banners — just the article's text and images.\n\nHow it works:\n1. Go to the article you want to read later.\n2. Click the ShareToEbook icon in your browser toolbar.\n3. The extension automatically extracts the page's main content (title, text and images) and shows you a preview.\n4. Click send, and the article arrives by email wherever you've set it up, ready to read.\n\nIt also keeps a history of everything you've sent, in case you want to reopen or resend something.\n\nInitial setup (only needed once):\n1. Your email account (SMTP): in the extension's settings menu, enter the SMTP server, your username and your password (if you use Gmail, Outlook or another provider with two-step verification, you'll need to generate a specific "app password" rather than your regular one). This account is the one used to send the articles.\n2. A destination profile, with: a name to identify it (e.g. "My Kindle" or "My email"); the sender email (the same one you set up in step 1); and the destination email — any address you want the article to reach (your own, someone else's, or your e-reader's if it accepts email delivery).\n\nYou can create several profiles — for example one for your Kindle and another for your personal email — and choose whether to include images and set their maximum width. Settings can be exported and imported so you don't have to repeat the process on another computer or browser.\n\nIf the destination is a Kindle: Amazon only delivers to your Kindle emails that come from an address you've authorized. Before sending anything, add the sender email you set up in step 1 to your approved senders list, in your Amazon account: "Manage Your Content and Devices" > "Preferences" > "Personal Document Settings". The profile's destination email, in this case, is the one ending in @kindle.com.\n\nAvailable for Chrome and Firefox.\n\nPrivacy policy: https://mosaico-web.com/sharetoebook/privacidad.html\n\nThis text was generated with the help of AI.

Is ShareToEbook Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

ShareToEbook requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
