Set Aside

Set Aside is a Chrome extension designed to help manage your browsing tabs efficiently. It allows you to set aside open tabs from your current window, grouping them into collections that you can restore at a later time. Each collection is organized in the order of creation and includes essential details such as the number of tabs, creation date and time, and thumbnail previews for quick identification.

The extension features a convenient sidebar for managing these collections, making tab organization intuitive and visually accessible. Keep in mind that when tabs are set aside, they are closed — so any unsaved data like unsubmitted forms might be lost. Additionally, tabs with privileged protocols (like file:, about:, or extension URLs) cannot be set aside due to browser security restrictions and will remain open.
