User reviews
Session Boss offers automatic session saving and restoration functionality that many users find helpful for managing multiple tabs, including support for Tree Style Tabs. However, multiple reviews report severe issues such as losing all saved sessions unpredictably, slow performance especially with large tab counts, and a lack of important features like session merging and robust import/export. The interface is considered outdated and buggy by some, with notable stability concerns. Overall, it has useful core features but requires significant improvements in reliability, performance, and functionality to meet user expectations.
Pros
- Automatically saves sessions when changes occur, providing timely backup without unnecessary copies.
- Can restore tabs and window sessions, saving users from data loss after crashes or accidental closures.
- Supports Tree Style Tabs, accommodating users who organize tabs in a tree structure.
- Simple and effective UI/UX appreciated by some users as being user-friendly once understood.
- Helps manage large numbers of tabs better than default Firefox session manager or some competitors.
Cons
- Frequent loss of saved sessions reported, leading to permanent loss of tabs and windows.
- Performance issues including slowness during session restoration, especially with many tabs, and high CPU usage causing sluggish browsing.
- Limited or missing features such as inability to merge sessions, manage duplicate tabs, multi-tab operations, and no import/export from popular session managers.
- UI is outdated and sometimes buggy, including problematic icons and non-functional settings/preferences.
- Lack of synchronization across devices and unreliable behavior when enabling/disabling the extension, sometimes leading to session data loss.

Doesn't work at all. This extension is useless and can't save any session. Doesn't support private windows and GUI is buggy.
I don't get it what you have updated there 3 months ago, but it simply doesn't work.
