Users praise Seesaw for ease of use and photo-sharing/communication, but repeatedly report navigation/back-button issues, a limited posting/feed experience, frequent logouts, and device-specific compatibility problems that impact reliability.

Pros

Easy to use and user-friendly for both parents and teachers.
Effective for sharing photos and communicating with parents.
Lightweight app footprint that doesn't take much device storage.

Cons

Back button / navigation does not work reliably on Android devices (notably Samsung) – clunky UX.
Feed and posting limitations: only a few most recent posts are visible; batch uploading and bulk actions are tedious.
Frequent logouts and stability issues; data loss after re-login.
Device compatibility and login problems, including Google login failures and update prompts to a nonexistent app.

Recent reviews

The lack of use of the "back" button is very frustrating. Having to navigate the app like it was designed by an apple user is not good. The overall feel is dry and lacking in character. Top that off with not being able to view any pictures in full screen and you have a bad app. No attempt at any updates to fix these issues either. Just looks like the app has been sent out and just forgotten about.
