SecureSearch is a powerful browser extension designed to keep your online searches secure. By blocking tracking cookies, it effectively prevents Google from connecting your searches with your account or building a search history. As a result, you won't receive personalized search results, promoting unbiased search experiences.

With SecureSearch active, Google will perceive you as logged out of your account during searches, enhancing your privacy. However, you will remain logged in on other Google services like YouTube or Gmail. To manage your search settings effectively, you can allow the "Search Preferences Cookie" in the add-on settings. By default, this preferences-cookie is blocked, preserving your search privacy.

Please note that while SecureSearch effectively blocks tracking cookies, there are other tracking methods, such as IP addresses or browser fingerprints, that this add-on cannot protect against.
