Bullerkollen

Bullerkollen is an indicative sound level meter for Android that measures, logs and analyses noise in homes, workplaces and outdoor environments.

REAL-TIME MEASUREMENT
Continuously calculates A- and C-weighted levels: LAeq, LCeq, LAFmax, LCmax, LCpeak, LASmax, LAFmin and L10/L50/L90 percentiles. Choose measurement duration 10 s–24 h. Save results and export as PDF.

LONG-TERM LOGGING
Log LAeq, LCeq and LAFmax continuously overnight. Choose resolution from 1 second to 15 minutes per data point. Includes a time-series chart and PDF report with a full data table.

INSULATION SCREENING
Estimate airborne sound insulation of a wall or floor using a Bluetooth speaker and the phone microphone. The app plays pink noise and calculates DnT and R´ per 1/3-octave band plus single-number ratings (ISO 717-1). Indicative — does not replace ISO 16283.

GUIDELINE COMPARISON
Results are automatically compared against Swedish Public Health Agency indoor guideline values (FoHMFS 2014:13): LAeq ≤ 30/35 dB, LAFmax ≤ 45 dB, LCpeak ≤ 85 dB.

CALIBRATION
Device profile (NIOSH), parallel calibration against a reference meter, or pistonphone 94 dB. External USB measurement microphone supported.

Bullerkollen does not meet IEC 61672-1 Class 1 or 2 requirements. For legally binding measurements, engage an accredited acoustics consultant.
