Have you ever whether scrollbars are really necessary? Because they aren't. The proof is that you don't see them when browsing the internet from your mobile, why not get rid of them in desktops too?

If you, like me, find that right scrollbar annoying and taking unnecessary space in your browser window and preventing you from having an edge-to-edge web experience, then Scrolantana might be what you need.

This bare-bone Js-free extension does two simple things, no more, no less:

Hide the main scroll bar in webpages.
Changes the style of all other scrollbars to be thinner than normal so they take up less space.

Given enough requests, I might add a settings screen to control the behavior of this extension.

Functions well, does the job. A couple things would be great to make it better: A keyboard shortcut to activate or deactivate it An extension button to the right of the search bar (both of those two would help prevent the cumbersome necissity to go into Add Ons menu to turn it on or off. I would love to switch between quickly) Final potential addition would be a settings screen to choose to what size different scrollbars appear as. Other than those desires, this does a great job
