User Reviews
Pros
- Easy to use and lightweight; designed to be simpler than NoScript.
- Blocks scripts early in the page load, reducing script activity and improving page performance.
- Flexible black/white lists with wildcard support for precise control.
- Privacy-friendly operation with claims of not tracking user activity.
- Effectively blocks intrusive scripts such as autoplay and random in-page scripts.
Cons
- No built-in logs or a visible list of blocked/allowed domains, making auditing difficult.
- Limited visibility of what will be allowed when whitelisting; it’s hard to quickly see which URLs are blocked or allowed.
- Users frequently request more controls (per-link enable/disable, per-domain rules) and features like regex support, which are currently missing.
- Some reviewers are skeptical about the privacy claims and would like verifiable proof of not tracking user activity.

I like this Add-on, it's easier to use than NoScript, and seems to block sooner in the add-on chain, relieving work on privacy screens and such, and it catches non-existant domain names from running scripts. (which is a particular problem I've been having lately … random invented domains which seem to run directly in memory without going out to the router)
@developers, I would like to use it *instead of* NoScript, but sadly I need to keep NoScript, because that lists the domains it blocked and allowed. I need that list to know what to add to the blacklist, and I don't get, even a log, from Script Blocker Ultimate. So I only know I've got my blacklist right for current threats because they don't show up in the NoScript list any more.

This add-on is very handy to keep random scripts from running on webpages like autoplaying videos with loud audio.
