Screen Recorder

Screen Recorder is a focused browser extension for quick screen capture from the toolbar. It can record a screen, window, or tab, take a regular PNG screenshot without video recording, and capture a full-page screenshot of the active website by scrolling the page within a reasonable 30,000 px limit.

The extension is built for everyday support, demos, bug reports, tutorials, product notes, and personal workflow captures. Open the popup, choose the capture mode, adjust audio or quality when needed, and save the result locally.

Key features:

• select compact, balanced, or crisp recording quality;
• add a 3, 5, or 10 second countdown before capture starts;
• use dark or light popup theme;
• see small inline hints near active controls;
• preview recordings and screenshots before saving;
• auto-download finished captures when preferred;
• use timestamped file names for easier organization.

How to use:

1. Click the Screen Recorder icon in the browser toolbar.
2. Choose Record, Screenshot, or Full page.
3. Open settings to select audio source, microphone, FPS, quality, countdown, preview, and auto-download.
4. Pick the screen, window, or tab in the browser sharing dialog.
5. Stop the recording or wait for the screenshot to finish.
6. Preview the result and download it, or let auto-download save it automatically.

Notes: Full-page screenshot capture works from the active web page and uses browser tab capture permissions. Some browser pages, extension pages, store pages, or protected pages may block capture. Regular screen recording and regular screenshots use the browser's standard screen sharing picker.
