Scientific Bayesian Average Calculator Firefox

Scientific Bayesian Average Calculator

The first scientifically validated Bayesian weighted average calculator. It accurately computes Bayesian weighted averages using either pre-calculated average metrics or the complete dataset from the table.

Features & Capabilities

Simply the Correctly Implemented Bayesian Average Calculator

To calculate the Bayesian average based on the given dataset only, leave both the system’s mean and the system’s average number of ratings fields empty. The first row will return the same value as the average, but filling in two or more fields will shift results closer to the dataset’s average.

To calculate the Bayesian average based on a predefined system’s mean, set both the system’s mean and the system’s average number of ratings, then press the Update Global Constraints button. You can also adjust the valid limits for ratings.

The addon works well with negative numbers. Constraints:Min possible rating: Both positive and negative floats. • Maximum possible rating: Both positive and negative floats, must be greater than the minimum possible rating. • System’s mean: Both positive and negative floats, must be between the minimum and maximum possible rating or left empty (if not empty, the system’s average number of ratings must also be a non-empty positive number). • System’s average number of ratings: Only positive numbers or left empty (if not empty, the system’s mean must also be non-empty).

For constraints to be applied, press the Update Global Constraints button. The fields of the table will be calculated automatically.

Fields:Link/Name: A link to the product, movie, etc., or its name. • Average rating: Both positive and negative floats, according to the limits set above for the given item. • Number of ratings: A positive integer representing the number of ratings for the given item. • Bayesian average: The calculated Bayesian average result for the given item.

Is Scientific Bayesian Average Calculator Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Scientific Bayesian Average Calculator requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

Scientific Bayesian Average Calculator may not be trust-worthy. Avoid installing if possible unless you really trust this publisher.
