User Reviews

Most reviews are negative. Users report that SaveTabs saves only a subset of tabs (often just the active or today\'s tabs) and may export nothing at all. Several accounts say no output file is created or accessible, with behavior varying by device or OS (Android, LM22.2). Some note the need to pre-activate tabs to save them, or to install before use. Privacy concerns and lack of information about data handling are also raised. Overall, reliability is poor for saving large tab sets.
Pros
Cons
  • Saves only active/recent or today\'s tabs; does not export all open tabs.
  • Often produces no output file or the file is not accessible (no .txt file found).
  • OS/device compatibility issues; works unreliably on Android and some desktop builds (e.g., LM22.2).
  • Requires pre-activating tabs to be saved or manual tab activation; functionality is not automatic.
  • Privacy concerns and unclear data handling; large icon file size for a simple addon.

I have hundreds of tabs. This only exported 2 (I'm on mobile)

Doesn't save inactive or unloaded tabs, only the one tab that has been accessed within the last two or three minutes. Useless, unless you are willing to touch every single tab manually to activate it - but at that point you could simply share it instead of using an extension.
