Робин

The Robin application is intended for installation on mobile phones of people using the same device. The software is intended for the collection and processing of telemetry, the transmission of commands and the setting of the smart cane "Robin".

The smart cane "Robin" is intended mainly for blind and deaf-blind users. It is designed to help users with disabilities navigate in space, identify objects and solve everyday tasks. “Robin” is a wearable device that is used with a white cane as an assistive technology, easy to use and does not require long training. Smart cane "Robin" performs the following functions:

- recognizes people's faces and remembers them;
- determines household items in the room and on the street, even in the dark
- measures the distance to objects and vibrates when obstacles are detected
- suitable for blind and deaf blind people
- displays information on Bluetooth-connected headphones or on a braille display

Application Information:
- the first version of the application
- additional functionality of interaction with the smart cane "Robin" (commands, telemetry, tuning)
- setting the volume of the sound messages output by the device
- Search function of the device within a radius of 10 meters from the phone
- feedback widget with developers to quickly solve technical problems of the user
- the ability to connect the device to WiFi
- the ability to connect external devices to the "Robin" (Braille displays, wireless headphones and speakers) via a Bluetooth connection
- the ability to add new people for recognition by the device through a mobile phone (camera / gallery)
