RegattaLens Tracker

RegattaLens Tracker turns the crew's phone into a yacht tracker: during a race the app sends the boat's position to the regatta server once per second, and spectators watch the fleet on a live map.

How it works
• Sign up and wait for a club administrator to approve your phone as a tracker and assign it to a boat.
• Before the start, tap "Start tracking" — your position goes on air.
• After finishing, tap "Stop". Outside tracking the app does not read location.

On screen
• Your boat: name, sail number, class, race and regatta.
• Live data: speed in knots, course, coordinates, GPS accuracy, battery level.
• Link health: points sent, queued and buffered.

Built for racing, not for the city
• Keeps running with the app in the background and the screen off — a permanent notification is shown while recording.
• Lost signal? Points are stored on the phone and delivered later, leaving no gaps in the track.
• No Google Play Services required: GPS is read directly, works on AOSP too.
