Общемосковский крестный ход

The official app for the regular event of the Russian Orthodox Church – the All-Moscow Cross Procession.

The All-Moscow Cross Procession is held on the day of the Synaxis of Moscow Saints. The procession is traditionally led by His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus'.

This app allows you to participate in the Russian Orthodox Church's cross processions more conveniently and gracefully. The app contains:
• Information about the next All-Moscow Cross Procession (start date and time, meeting point, route, etc.),
• General information about the event (the history of the All-Moscow Cross Procession, speeches and addresses by His Holiness to app users, prayers and chants for participation in the All-Moscow Cross Procession, etc.),
• Communication between participants and organizers of the All-Moscow Cross Procession on the day of the event.

The All-Moscow Cross Procession to the Novodevichy Convent in 1525 is one of the most significant events in the history of the Russian Orthodox Church. The purpose of the revived procession is to sanctify the space of our lives—the capital of Moscow and all of Russia. This movement is not only through the streets, but also toward God, toward the fulfillment of His commandments in our lives. A procession of the cross for all of Moscow!
