EcoGuide: Forest Insect Pests

EcoGuide: Forest Insect Pests is a unique mobile field guide designed for identifying 92 prevalent tree pest insects native to Northern Eurasia, specifically Russia. This comprehensive app offers detailed illustrations of insects at various life stages (imago, eggs, larvae), descriptions of their habitats, reproduction, feeding plants, and the type of damage they cause to forests.

Users can quickly identify species using three simple criteria: appearance, type of damage, and feeding plant, each offering multiple selectable values. EcoGuide operates fully offline, making it ideal for use directly in nature. The app includes five main sections: Guide, Atlas, Textbook, Manual, and Quiz, which provide rich educational resources for forest pest identification and study. Note that the app is currently available only in Russian.
