Artefact is an innovative Chrome extension designed as a comprehensive guide for Russian museums. It allows users to download exhibitions of interest and explore them through augmented reality (AR) by simply pointing their camera at exhibits. This interactive tool enriches museum visits by providing access to expert-level points of interest previously exclusive to curators, detailed articles about artists and their work, and professional audio guides for an immersive experience.

For those unable to visit museums in person, Artefact offers a Catalog mode to explore unique exhibits from home. The app is continuously updated, adding 2–3 new exhibitions weekly. Developed in collaboration with museum specialists, Artefact bridges art and technology, enhancing appreciation and understanding of Russian cultural heritage through engaging multimedia content and AR technology.
