IT Interview Prep: JS, React, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL
Codech is a developer interview preparation tool. It's not a textbook or a reference book, but rather short, daily 10-minute exercises that help you test and reinforce your knowledge before the interview.
It's perfect for junior and intermediate developers preparing for IT interviews—frontend, backend, or fullstack. If you've learned React from guides but are struggling with questions about closures and event loops, or if you're interviewing in Node.js and aren't confident with event loops, async, or working with a database—this app is for you.
What's inside
A current database of questions from real IT interviews on JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and SQL. Soon we'll be adding Vue, React Native design patterns, and SOLID.
Each question includes a short answer for self-assessment and a detailed analysis with code examples, best practices, and anti-patterns. Junior and Middle levels are separated, and cards are tailored to your level and role.
Preparation Roles
Frontend React Junior and Middle — JavaScript, React, TypeScript.
Node.js Junior and Middle — JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL.
Each role has its own technology stack with weights. You can prepare for the Frontend workshop, then switch to Backend without losing progress on the topics you've already covered.
How it works
Choose a role and stack, launch a training session of 5, 10, 15, or 20 questions, read the question, recall the answer, and compare it with the standard.
You evaluate yourself honestly: "didn't know," "partially," or "knew." The system remembers your results and returns difficult questions using the spaced repetition method—you'll see what you didn't remember earlier, and what you know well, you can review later.
Interview Readiness Index (IRS)
Codech's key feature: instead of the usual "40 out of 200 answered," you see your actual interview readiness percentage for the selected role. The metric takes into account topic coverage, answer quality, and knowledge retention, taking into account the weight of each technology in the stack. Weak topics are highlighted, making it immediately clear where to invest the next 10 minutes.
What makes us different
The focus is strictly on interview preparation, not "learning a language from scratch." Only practice and self-assessment, no hours-long video lectures. Progress is calculated across the entire role stack, not just one technology. Works offline, data is stored on the device. No ads or paid subscriptions.
In development
AI-powered answer checking, role expansion, progress synchronization across devices, personalized selections for weak topics.
Open the app, select a role, and see your progress. Good luck with your interview.
