User Reviews

Users praise Inoreader's core service as powerful and useful, and some find the extension workable day-to-day. Major recurring problems are persistent sign-in/session failures, inability to add feeds through the extension, and frequent loss or reversion of user settings (often after updates). These issues drive frustration despite the service’s strengths.
Pros
  • Core Inoreader service is well-regarded—functional, powerful and useful to users.
  • Some users find the extension works fine day-to-day after enhancements (general ease-of-use and cross-platform support).
Cons
  • Extension frequently loses or fails to maintain login/session (repeated sign-outs and login loops).
  • Unable to add feeds via the extension/icon (detects feeds but won't add them).
  • Extension resets or forgets user settings (notably after Firefox updates or periodically).

This thing is not working (Won't add a feed)
by PO*****, 2025-08-03

Re-installed after some time away from the main app. Right now, the extension can detect that there's feeds (orange icon), but doesn't actually let you add them via the icon. Not too sure what the point is...
