Reviews are overwhelmingly positive about the add-on’s quality and usefulness. The main recurring concern is join-related functionality: users both request more join capabilities (join specific players) and report that advertised join features (e.g., fast server joining) are unreliable or fail.
Pros
  • Generally positive user feedback — multiple reviewers call it a good product or the best extension
  • Viewed as a high-quality/well-liked add-on
  • Includes or advertises server-joining features (users reference join-related functionality)
Cons
  • Server-joining functionality is unreliable or missing — users request the ability to join specific players and report slow/failed joins

2026-08-19 Fo***** I've been using rogold for around 4-5 years and I wouldn't go back to the stock roblox website. My experience with it has been great, and I'm surprised most of what rogold adds aren't already features in the roblox website. What I like the most are the default settings, in most other roblox extensions you have to meticulously go and change each setting since there's most likely stuff you don't want turned on or off. The only setting I've found myself changing often when installing it on different browsers was just the conversion of robux from USD to Euros. Another thing is the wide variety of support, rogold supports both chromium and gecko. Most other extensions I would've liked to use are either really badly supported on firefox or are only available on google extensions. It even has an IOs app, which I've yet to try. Something that's understated is that the features actually work, bulk unfriend actually unfriends the people you choose, viewing banned users isn't a buggy mess and friend activities show correct titles. Everything just works. Even though I strongly recommend it, it's not perfect, like nothing is. Something worth knowing is that the extension is fully closed source. I'm a strong advocate for open source software, but even then I'm not too nit picky about it since the developers have NEVER had a case of injecting it with malicious scripts (unlike some other roblox extensions), rogold is highly trustable. Some settings are a bit clunky, I don't know if it's because I'm using Librewolf but the "Old Font" setting doesn't work despite it not being tagged as being in beta from the writing of this review. I know this is contradictory to the previous phrase of "Everything just works", but It's probably just me using a very privacy strict browser, so that's something to watch out for if you're also using one. But even then those are minor issues that don't bother me, a roblox extension being closed source actually makes it more trustworthy in a sense. The roblox community is notorious for having mass amounts of scammers/hackers that if given the extension was open source.. they could fork it, inject scripts in it, then ship it as the "official" extension. Closed source doesn't have that problem. And it also protects the paid tiers from being bypassed since anyone could strip out the protections that keep those paywalled. I'm not saying open source extensions are bad, It's just that rogold has It's fair reasons to be closed source rather than how other apps/extensions are closed source for seemingly no reason. I still like what the extension offers. It's fast, It's not bloated, highly customisable and for me It's generally a good experience to use. I've read through all the features before writing this review and I'm surprised how much of it I've actually just been using.

2026-08-10 Le***** I like this roblox browser extension; infact, It's probably on-par with RoPro. I love the features it gives, expecially the support for firefox.
