Volunteer Hub

VIHub (Volunteer Interaction Hub) is a mobile app designed to simplify and modernize the way volunteering activities are organized and managed.

Originally developed for a high school volunteer club, VIHub is designed to be adaptable for any organization managing volunteering activities. It replaces messy spreadsheets, chat groups, and manual confirmations with a single integrated platform that connects volunteers and coordinators effortlessly.

For Volunteers:
• Browse upcoming events with full details
• Sign up or withdraw with one tap
• Track participation history and earned credits
• Receive instant notifications about approvals and updates
• Submit feedback after each event

For Organizers:
• Create and manage events with multiple time slots
• Approve or reject applications easily
• Monitor attendance and engagement
• Send announcements directly to participants

VIHub makes volunteer coordination faster, smarter, and more transparent. The app is currently used by a school volunteer club but is designed to scale for other organizations that value efficiency and community engagement.


User login is performed using email.

After login, users are asked to provide their date of birth.
If a user is under the age of 16, parental consent is required.

Parental consent is collected via a dedicated consent form provided by the app.
No identity documents (ID cards, passports, or similar) are requested.

The consent form is reviewed manually by the app administrators.
Until consent is approved, access to certain features is restricted.

No advertising, tracking, or profiling is used.

This app is used by volunteers to discover events, register for activities, and receive notifications.

The app is intended for volunteers and members of partner organizations.
At launch, access is limited to two organizations (ICHB Pallady and ICHB Colentina), with plans to expand availability in the future.

Push notifications are used to inform users about new events and important updates.
Notifications are optional and can be disabled from the device settings.
