Gospodăria — Home in Romania

Gospodăria helps you stay on top of everything your home in Romania needs — no ads, in Romanian and English. Made for people living in Romania and for the diaspora managing a property from abroad.

HOUSE PLAN
• Deadlines for ITP (vehicle inspection), RCA (motor liability insurance), road vignette, boiler service (VTP), PAD home insurance, documents and taxes — and you can edit them, not just delete.
• See what's coming up and when it expires. Add a deadline to your phone's calendar or share it.
• Create a household or join with an invite code, so every member sees the same deadlines.
• Own more than one property? Add multiple households and switch between them in "My households".

ALERTS, WEATHER AND NOTICES
• Current and planned outages for your chosen county and locality, from official distributor sources, shown separately where available. In Bucharest, district-heating outages announced by Termoenergetica are included.
• Weather warnings from two sources (MeteoAlarm/EUMETNET and ANM nowcasting for imminent phenomena), with attribution.
• Current weather and a 7-day forecast, approximate at county level (MET Norway data). No GPS: you pick the county and locality yourself.
• Official town-hall notices in covered cities — rolling out gradually.
• The app is honest about what it knows: it says when data is cached, coverage is partial or a feature isn't available.

READY FOR OUTAGES
• Home-screen widget: area status, next deadline and the weather — from data already on the phone, no network requests; stale data is clearly labelled.
• Outage Mode works without internet: last known status, distributor helpline numbers verified on official websites, and simple checklists for power cuts, gas smell or no water. Informational — it does not replace official emergency channels.
• Local weekly summary (Sunday evening), composed on your phone only, can be turned off in Settings.
• "Received notifications": a local 30-day history of what the app has shown.
• Planned outages can be added to your calendar at the correct Romanian local time, even if your phone is on another time zone.

TRADESPEOPLE
• Search by trade and see who is available in your locality; widen the search to the county.
• Publish a request for help, or your own services and availability — and withdraw them any time from "My listings". Contacting and offers require a confirmed Google account; searching does not.
• A tradesperson's number is revealed only when you ask. Profiles, prices and licences are self-declared; Gospodăria does not vet tradespeople, guarantee work or process payments.

NEIGHBOURS
• Your locality's feed, synced across household members: posts with photos, official outage alerts and useful conversations.
• With community rules, reporting and blocking — moderated, so it stays a quiet, helpful place.

FOR THE DIASPORA
• Living abroad with a property in Romania? The app speaks English, outage times are shown in Romanian local time, and phone numbers dial correctly from outside Romania. Note: 112 always calls the emergency service of the country you are in.

ACCOUNT AND DATA
• Core features and shared households via invite code work without a Google account. Signing in is optional and brings everything back on a new phone: your households, your name, your deadlines — no reconfiguration.
• You can request account deletion from your Profile and track it in the app. Deleting your Gospodăria account does not delete your Google account.

Note: outage information comes from distribution operators and may change. Check the operator's official announcements, and verify a tradesperson's identity, qualifications and terms before any work.
