Review Radar for Amazon

Fakespot alternative: AI-powered review analysis for Amazon. Spot suspicious reviews, incentivised ratings, and fake review campaigns.

Features & Capabilities

Spot fake Amazon reviews before you buy.

Review Radar for Amazon uses AI to analyse Amazon product reviews and show you which ones to trust. Unlike tools that give you a single letter grade for the whole product, we show you a trust indicator on every single review — so you can make your own informed decision.

Adjusted Star Rating

As reviews are analysed, Review Radar for Amazon calculates an adjusted star rating for the product — what the rating would look like with fake reviews filtered out. Reviews from trusted sources keep their original stars, while low-trust reviews have their ratings inverted (a suspicious 5-star review counts as 1 star and a suspicious 1 star review counts as 5 stars). Uncertain reviews are excluded entirely. Recent reviews carry more weight than older ones, so the rating reflects the current state of the product. The adjusted rating appears once 8 or more reviews for a given product have been analysed across all Review Radar for Amazon users.

How it works

• Visit any Amazon product page • Reviews are automatically analysed • See trust indicators next to each review (Likely Real, Tentatively Real, Uncertain, Questionable, or Suspicious) • Hover over any indicator for a detailed explanation of why we flagged it • The product overview box shows scan progress, the adjusted star rating, and your remaining scans

What we detect

• Generic or vague reviews that lack specific details • Overly promotional language that sounds like marketing copy • Extraordinary claims that seem too good to be true • Patterns suggesting incentivised or coordinated reviews • Reviewer behaviour patterns across multiple products

Why Review Radar for Amazon?

Most fake review tools give you a letter grade and leave you guessing. We show you exactly which reviews triggered concerns and explain our reasoning. You see the evidence, you make the call.

Works everywhere Amazon does

Review Radar for Amazon supports all 20 Amazon marketplaces worldwide: • North America: USA, Canada, Mexico • Europe: UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Turkey • Asia-Pacific: Japan, Australia, Singapore, India • Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia • South America: Brazil

Our AI analyses reviews in their native language — no translation needed. Whether you're reading reviews in English, German, Japanese, or any other supported language, Review Radar for Amazon understands the context.

Privacy first

Review text is sent to our servers for AI analysis, then immediately discarded — never stored. We store anonymised metadata (hashed reviewer IDs, product codes, dates, scores) to detect coordinated fake review campaigns, but this cannot be linked back to individuals. We don't track your browsing history, purchase activity, or Amazon account.

We collect minimal analytics (browser type, install/uninstall events, optional feedback categories) to understand which browsers to prioritize. This data is anonymized and we don't track your browsing activity or create user profiles.

The only personal information we store is your email if you purchase Pro or Power User (used for license delivery and customer support).

Pricing

• Free: 100 scans per month — enough to check reviews on your most important purchases • Pro (£15/year): 1000 scans per month — for regular shoppers who want peace of mind • Power User (£45/year): Unlimited scans — for heavy shoppers, resellers, or anyone who never wants to hit a limit
