Resting is a Chrome extension designed for developers and testers to debug, inspect, and test HTTP APIs swiftly and visually. It offers a clean and lightweight interface to efficiently handle HTTP requests including multipart, x-www-form-urlencoded, raw data, and file uploads.

Key features include support for BASIC, OAuth 2.0, and JWT authentication, tabbed multiple requests, and HTTP header auto-completion. Users can highlight and navigate JSON responses, copy outputs to clipboard, and view response headers. Resting also supports the use of variables organized into contexts for flexible request building.

Users can save requests as bookmarks organized into folders with import/export capabilities. Privacy is a strong focus, with all data stored locally on the device's Indexed DB ensuring no data is sent over the internet. Inspired by Postman, Resting offers a community-friendly, efficient, offline HTTP client to streamline daily API testing workflows.
