If you want to turn off YouTube's new "Important" notifications section and see all alerts in a single, chronological list, this Chrome extension does exactly that. It removes the separate Important Notifications area in YouTube's notification popup and returns notifications to their original time-sorted order for a clearer, simpler feed.

The extension works in most languages (sorting is most accurate in English) and is lightweight and unobtrusive. A userscript version is also available for other managers and workflows, making it easy to install on different platforms or browsers.

Occasionally get the empty notifications bug, but that's worth it to get rid of the garbage UI change

This could be a great addon, but it still comes with an issue. Let's assume the usual 2 important notifications are there. In that case, notifications #24 and #25 get removed when scrolling down as they load while the addon is doing what it's supposed to do otherwise. If there's 3, it also removes #23 respectively as well. So everytime I have more than 22 new notifications, I won't see 2 or 3 of them, because this addon / script for some reason removes those. Would rate 5 ⭐ if that was fixed.
