Remember Position for YouTube

I looked for the stuff that usually gives sketchy extensions away: any fetch or XMLHttpRequest calls sending data somewhere, any eval() or scripts built on the fly to hide what they're doing, permissions in the manifest that are broader than what's needed, and scripts hiding in the icon files (yes SVGs can technically carry those). Didn't find any of it. Just storage + youtube.com in the manifest, nothing more. Code reads the video's current time, saves it locally, that's the whole thing basically. I didn't found any internet call. Haven't had it long enough to give a real verdict on day to day use, but so far it does what it says with no weird surprises in the code. Popup is simple, ignore list works, no ads or premium upsell nonsense
