This extension runs in the background on Reddit.com and collapses the left navigation sidebar categories on page loads. This protects your privacy from anyone looking over your shoulder and seeing your custom, recent, or community subreddits.

One caveat is, if you close the entire sidebar it will be forced open on the next page load to collapse the categories. Due to Reddit's site design the categories can't be collapsed if the entire sidebar is closed. Without doing this, opening the sidebar would expose your subreddits.

As a bonus, this extension strips tracking hashes out of the browser's URL on Reddit.

Reddit recently removed comment context when viewing notification messages. This extension returns the context flag so when viewing replies you can see the comment in which they are replying to.

This extension only has permission to:

Read and process page loads on Reddit.com

It will still work without having permission to run in private windows. However, if you want it to work in "Incognito mode" it will need permission to run in private windows.
