Hide Reddit comments to keep your feed calmer. This add-on removes comment threads on post pages and (optionally) hides the “comments” button/counter on home & subreddit feeds. Works on new Reddit and old.reddit. Instant toolbar toggle. No data collection.

Features: • Hide full comment threads on post pages (new Reddit + old.reddit). • Optional “Hide comment buttons on feeds” to remove the comments link/counter on listing pages. • Instant toggle via the toolbar popup—changes apply to open Reddit tabs immediately. • Lightweight: pure CSS injection, no background tracking or network requests. • Privacy-friendly: no analytics, telemetry, or data collection.

How it works: The add-on injects minimal CSS to hide comment containers and, when enabled, feed comment buttons/counters. You can toggle two settings in the popup: “Enable blocker” and “Also hide comment buttons on feeds.”

Permissions used: • storage — remembers your two toggle settings. • tabs — updates the state instantly across open Reddit tabs. • host permissions — limited to reddit.com and old.reddit.com.

Notes: • Designed to reduce distractions and spoilers while keeping posts, titles, and media visible. • If Reddit updates its UI, the blocker will continue to work since it targets stable containers and roles. • Compatible with Firefox desktop.
