Reddirama Firefox

Reddirama

Turn Reddit into a fullscreen, hands-free slideshow: any subreddit or profile, your Home feed, or (logged in) your saved, upvoted and custom feeds.

Features & Capabilities

Reddirama turns Reddit into a fullscreen, hands-free slideshow you can lean back and watch.

Pick a source and lean back:

  • any subreddit or user profile (just open Reddirama from its page)
  • your Home feed
  • your saved and upvoted posts (logged in)
  • your custom feeds (logged in)

Images, GIFs, galleries and videos play automatically, with adjustable speed, sound, and video scrubbing. Sorting adapts to the source (newest / oldest / shuffle for saved, upvoted and profiles; best / hot / new / top for Home; hot / new / top for subreddits and feeds).

How it works: Reddirama adds a button on reddit.com. What it plays depends on where you tap it: a subreddit page plays that subreddit, a profile page plays that person's posts, and the menu in the viewer lets you switch source anytime (logged in, it also offers your Home, saved, upvoted and custom feeds). It reads the chosen listing through your existing Reddit session and opens the slideshow in a separate viewer page. Nothing is stored anywhere, there is no extra login and no Reddit app to create. Your data flows only between you, Reddit and the viewer.

Is Reddirama Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Reddirama requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

Reddirama is recently added, and hasn't been around long enough for us to gather enough data to accurately assess its risk level.
