Municipalities in the Netherlands help their residents to continue living at home for as long as possible, if this is desirable. The Social Support Act (Wmo) is intended to support this. Since decentralization in 2015, the responsibility for the implementation of home care lies largely with these municipalities. The control of lawful spending of healthcare money therefore also lies with them.

FAIR CARE Solutions has developed a system that offers support to municipalities and healthcare providers. This method of registration, based on blockchain technology, checks whether healthcare money is actually spent properly.

The FAIR CARE solution is a transparent and not unilaterally adaptable system for monitoring and validating home care services.
