Ratevert Exchange Rates for Currency & Crypto

Ratevert converts selected webpage prices into currency and crypto values with live exchange rates, automatic source detection, local settings, optional tax or fee calculations, and a compact result card that appears right next to selected text.

Select a price such as $21.99, EUR 12.50, 398 CNY, or 0.000018 BTC on any regular webpage, then click the Ratevert icon to see the converted value without opening a separate calculator. Ratevert can detect common fiat symbols, currency codes, and popular crypto tickers when they appear beside the selected value.

The extension works without an account using local settings, so you can choose one input and one output currency or crypto asset directly from the popup. You can also turn automatic detection on or off, disable auto currency detection when you want to force your selected input, switch between system, light, and dark themes, and use the right-click context menu as a manual fallback.

Ratevert is designed to stay lightweight. It does not run OCR or scan entire pages. It works from the text you select and uses Ratevert exchange rate data to calculate the result.
