Hanuman Ashtak was written by Goswami Tulsidas . It follows the devotional classic Shri Hanuman Chalisa. Tulsidas was a great Hindi writer and saint of the 16th century. He also composed Ramcharitmanas.

हनुमान अष्टक को गोस्वामी तुलसीदास ने लिखा था. यह भक्ति शास्त्रीय श्री हनुमान चालीसा का अनुसरण करता है. तुलसीदास 16वीं सदी के महान हिन्दी साहित्यकार और संत थे. उन्होंने रामचरितमानस की रचना भी की थी.

संकटमोचन हनुमानाष्टक की संरचना गोस्वामी तुलसीदास ने की थी. माना जाता है कि हनुमान जयंती पर संकटमोचन हनुमानाष्टक का पाठ करने से व्यक्ति को अपनी हर बाधा और पीड़ा से मुक्ति मिलने के साथ उसके सभी संकट दूर हो जाते हैं.
