Zan Fast Ferries is Tanzania's first ferry booking app offering a fast and intuitive way to reserve ferry trips between Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. Users can search availability, select trips, choose class and seats, and complete bookings in under three minutes.

The app supports secure in-app payments using USSD push technology connected to local mobile operators, facilitating transactions through mobile wallets. Alternatively, customers can pay in cash at Zan Fast Ferries offices within a specified period before the booking expires. Once payment is confirmed, the app generates an e-ticket with a QR code, enabling convenient boarding via mobile phone, eliminating paper tickets.

Additional features include a trip history log and an option to save passenger ID details for faster future bookings, streamlining the entire ferry ticketing experience.
