Ibérico 2.0

Ibérico 2.0 is a Chrome extension designed to provide detailed traceability for Iberian ham and shoulder products certified under the IBÉRICO QUALITY STANDARD (RD. 4/2014). Each Iberian piece is individually marked with a unique and tamper-proof seal that identifies its category and ensures authenticity. The extension allows consumers to access complete information tracing the product's journey from pig birth and fattening through to final preparation and delivery.

The Iberian Quality Standard mandates four distinct seals differentiated by color: Black (100% Iberico Bellota), Red (Acorn-fed Iberian 75% and 50%), Green (Campo Ibérico Cebo 100%, 75%, and 50%), and White (Iberian Cebo 100%, 75%, and 50%). These seals reflect quality categories and are supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food along with the Iberian sector to guarantee safety, quality, and authenticity. Ibérico 2.0 empowers consumers to confidently select and verify premium Iberico cuts with maximum assurance.
