Features & Capabilities

How many times have you typed the same email sign-off today?

Quill keeps your reusable text in one place — and puts it back wherever you need it with a single click or a right-click.

WHAT IT DOES

📋 Save any text as a named snippet — short or long, plain or formatted ⚡ Copy to clipboard instantly from the popup 🖱️ Right-click any text field on any website to insert a snippet directly — no clipboard needed 🔍 Search across all your snippets by title or content ↕️ Sort by most recently used or alphabetically 📊 Tracks how often each snippet is used so your most-reached-for ones stay at the top

PERFECT FOR

→ Email signatures and sign-offs → Home or business address → Code boilerplate and templates → Support responses and canned replies → Anything you find yourself typing more than once

HOW TO USE

  1. Click the Quill icon in your toolbar
  2. Hit "+ New" — give your snippet a title and paste the text
  3. Save with the button or Ctrl+Enter
  4. To use it: click Copy in the popup, or right-click inside any text field and choose Quill → Insert Snippet
To edit or delete: click the pencil or × on any snippet row.

Is Quill Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Quill requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
