qr.dance

qr.dance turns your TV into the town square of a medieval festival, and your guests into the dancers.

No app to install on the phones. Everyone scans the code on the TV and plays in their phone's browser. Each phone shows a code on its screen and reads the next one's with its camera. Together you build the dance: a ring, a line, a conga, any shape the herald calls. Hold it, and the music grows with every dancer who joins. Let go, and the TV names who broke it.

DANCE
- 1 to 8 players. Not enough people? Friendly townsfolk fill the empty places.
- Many dances to learn, each with its own song: the Conga, the Crown, the Octopus, the Tango, Romeo and Juliet and more.
- Three levels: Apprentice, Journeyman and Master. The grace time gets shorter as you hold each dance.
- Surprises mid-dance: a gust of wind, a lock, a lost key, a swap, an earthquake, a flood. The curtain drops, and the whole room scrambles to rebuild.

CELEBRATE
Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, parties: give the evening its own screen. Add a title, a photo and a line of your own. Guests scan the code and join a line that grows across the screen, with a song that builds with every person. The record line is kept on the celebration's own page, so you can share it afterwards.

PUBLIC SCREENS
A screen in a café, a shop or a waiting room: strangers build a line together and try to beat the record. You can even offer a small prize for beating it.

Played standing up, phones in hand, moving around the room. Best with friends, family, and a little chaos.

Free to play. No ads on the players' phones.
