Features & Capabilities

QoreX is the official wallet for QoreChain — the quantum-safe, AI-native Layer 1 blockchain. Non-custodial and post-quantum by default: every QOR transfer is signed with the mandatory ML-DSA-87 (FIPS 204) hybrid signature, protecting your assets against both today's attackers and tomorrow's quantum computers.

CONNECT TO ANY APP QoreX speaks the three standards Web3 apps expect:

  • EVM apps — EIP-1193 provider with EIP-6963 multi-wallet discovery
  • Cosmos apps — Keplr-compatible signDirect, with the quantum-safe layer added automatically (apps need no PQC awareness)
  • Solana apps — Wallet Standard (connect, sign & send) NEVER BLIND-SIGN Every request opens a human-readable approval: the requesting site, decoded message types, recipient and amount. If an app requests a classical (non-quantum-safe) signature, QoreX warns you loudly before you approve.

SEND BEYOND QORECHAIN Send natively on external networks — ETH, BNB, POL, ARB, SOL, ATOM, OSMO, TIA, plus USDT, USDC and DAI — with exact BigInt amount handling (no floating-point rounding). External sends always show an explicit notice that those networks accept only classical signatures; your QOR stays native and quantum-safe.

SECURITY FIRST

  • Keys never leave your device — encrypted locally in an AES-256-GCM vault
  • Unlock with a passkey (PRF), or password hardened by Argon2id — a memory-hard KDF that resists GPU brute-force
  • Automatic lockout after failed unlock attempts
  • Manifest V3 with a strict Content Security Policy — no remote code, no WASM, no eval
  • Only two permissions: storage and alarms. Zero host permissions.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no data collection. Ever. QoreX is open about what it does and why. Version 0.1.0 — early release; feedback welcome at team@qorechain.io.

Is QoreX Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

QoreX requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.

QoreX is recently added, and hasn't been around long enough for us to gather enough data to accurately assess its risk level.
