Ptt Media Preview is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your browsing experience on Ptt and term.ptt.cc by enabling previews for images and videos that are otherwise not displayed. It supports popular media hosts such as imgur.com (including albums and galleries), live.staticflickr.com, pbs.twimg.com, pic.pimg.tw, YouTube (www.youtube.com and youtu.be), allowing seamless viewing of media content directly within Ptt interfaces.

Additionally, the extension optimizes media loading by converting imgur album images from jpg and png formats to webp, and transforms gifs into mp4 videos on term.ptt.cc. These changes accelerate load times and reduce data usage, ensuring a smoother experience. The source code is openly available on GitHub, inviting community contributions and transparency.
