Persisting issues: authentication failures prevent access to subscriptions; the app is unstable after updates (Android 15) with crashes and constant refresh/flicker. Offline access is limited—news often unreadable without internet, and some features fail offline. In-app navigation is frustrating: links open in the browser or redirect to the homepage instead of the article. Front page doesn’t refresh consistently. While Público offers broad coverage, these recurring problems lead many users to use the web instead.

Sendo leitor do Público, que muito apoio, ao fim de quatro anos de subscrição da aplicação decidi cancelar. Desde sempre que tive problemas com o software, muitas vezes não me permitiu simplesmente aceder aos artigos, mesmo pagando a mensalidade. Vivendo no estrangeiro até consideraria encomendar a versão física, mas infelizmente nem existe essa opção. Aconselho o jornal a investir rapidamente na resolução dos bugs da versão digital, porque vendo o resto dos comentários, a necessidade é óbvia.
