PEM Móvel

PEM Móvel is a cutting-edge mobile application designed to facilitate 100% dematerialized (paperless) electronic prescriptions within Portugal's National Health Service (SNS). Developed by SPMS since 2012, the app supports doctors in both primary care and hospital environments, as well as private sector prescribers, to issue, validate, and register prescriptions digitally with strong authentication and digital signature through the Digital Mobile Key.

This app enables seamless integration between users, prescribers, and pharmacies, improving efficiency, reducing administrative costs and time, and enhancing service quality. Patients benefit from convenient access to prescriptions via email or SMS, while pharmacies can securely consult prescriptions and invoice electronically.
