Family Food Heritage

Family Food Heritage is an app that connects communities (families) to help preserve and value their culinary heritage. In this collaborative digital platform, users can record, organize, and share recipes and food traditions, contributing to the safeguarding of knowledge passed down through generations.

At a time when families are often geographically dispersed, the app digitally recreates a universal food tradition: gathering around the table. More than just a repository, Family Food Heritage relies on community participation. Each user can add recipes, document practices, and share stories related to food, helping to build a living and accessible archive.

By bringing together individual contributions on a shared platform, Family Food Heritage—created within the CONVIVIUM project: New European Bauhaus Solutions in Food, Living Heritage, and Conviviality—promotes the appreciation of intangible heritage and encourages its transmission to future generations.
