OH!BUG

OH!BUG is an application that allows the user to identify plant species – trees, shrubs and herbs – by recognizing their characteristics – type of plant, leaf, flower, fruit and habitat.
The OH!BUG application uses a real-time GPS navigation system, allowing the user to add the identified plant to the map according to its location.

Each user has access to a personal map where they can add plants according to their location. In the personal map, the user has access to the Main Menu; the Add a plant to the map button; and also to the Scoring system, where you can view the points acquired so far and their level of progress; and finally, the Plant Count system, where you can analyze the plants identified so far by plant type.
The Main Menu presents functionalities with regard to search by location, search by number of plants identified, and also guarantees access to Challenges and the User Profile.
The method of identification by feature filters allows the user to present a list of results of plants that fit each pattern.
Each plant is assigned a technical sheet where its detailed properties are described. This technical sheet is accompanied by a Glossary that serves as an additional support tool with regard to mastering the scientific terms used in the botanical vocabulary.
The Challenges are organized by category, and in each category the user will be able to access one or more challenges. Each challenge has a list of actions to be completed, requiring the identification of a specific amount of a particular species that appears in the database.
The User Profile initially displays the Journey, where the history of actions performed and Score Levels reached by the user, as well as the Awards won, is visible. It is also in the User's Profile that the User will find the Friends section, where the possibility of sending an invitation, via Social Networks, to a friend is given.
